Antique Chandelier
A type of chandelier candlestick with multipal branches arranged in a pyramid shape. This very popular decorative element is ideal on a table or above a fireplace.
The candlesticks are normally in pairs and can have sizes ranging between 30 and 80 cm. These candlesticks found in either bronze, silver or gold have an average of 3 or 4 candles while the upper ends can be finished in the shape of a dagger or a crystal pyramid .
So a “girandolles” (the french word) is a beautiful candlestick enriched with decorative crystal glass, similar to the chandeliers.
